Trail Build: Patapsco Fun Series!

Obligatory mentions of the Patapsco 100 & Patapsco Epic go here. We’re working on the future of the Cascade Trail, this will be new bench work that will eventually turn in to a very nice extension out to Illchester on the HoCo side ( he typed confidently ). We’ll of course be playing with grade reversals and drainage’s and generally having a grand time seeing one another again. I wonder who’s bringing lunch.
When you enter the park, pass the control station turn left at Gun Road, continue thru the yellow gate past the Avalon pavilions ( another 2 miles ) to the parking lot just past the “Swinging Bridge”
OLV hosted folks on the 2nd and 4th Monday nights 6PM – 8PM but that’s over for now.
The work fun series is brought to you by AFC, OLV, Race Works Gruppetto, SSOFT, and MORE. We’ll be hiking in, sometimes I even drag my kids along. Let me know you’re coming via email or facebook so I know how many donuts/tools/snacks to bring ( especially if you’re bringing kids, they like to run in packs – dear parents, bring a change of clothes for the sMORE’s, they’ll need it ). You should bring gloves and sturdy footwear suitable for doing trail work outside, something to drink, a smiling face and your favourite tool. Expect to get dirty, wet and have a ton of fun doing it!
