Bike Maryland Saddened by Tragic Death of Maryland Cyclist

Like many of you, we were devastated to learn of the death of a member of our Maryland cycling community yesterday. Bruce Marshall, 77, was struck by the driver of a car and killed as he traversed the Paper Mill Road crossing on the NCR Trail in Baltimore County.

Our deepest condolences go out to Mr. Marshall’s family and loved ones. Every cycling fatality is one too many.  We are resolved to continue our work advocating for important legislation to make biking safer for all Maryland cyclists.
