Bike Salisbury is in the news!

WMDT covered this story about Bike-SBY’s efforts to improve bicycling infrastructure in Salisbury.  The city is looking into fixing up an existing bike route but was unable to reach a quorum at the last meeting.

For those of you who have been covering Salisbury, the city also recently approved a Bicycle-Pedestrian Advisory Committee.  They also now have new bike racks, new bike lanes, are host to a bicycle friendly merchant program, and hold regular bicycling events including rides and swaps.

We are looking forward to the day when Salisbury is designated the Eastern Shore of Maryland’s first Bicycle Friendly Community!
